Leisnig train station | Rehabilitation and Renovation
Project start: 2020
LP1-9: Alireza Rismanchian
Client: Bahnhof Leisnig GbR
Since summer 2020 we have been preparing and securing the abandoned railway station in Leisnig for renovation. A place for culture, exchange and encounter is to be created from the historical station building.
Since Feb. 2020 | Freelance architect, Management
Drafting, construction management and project management
Partner and managing director of Bahnhof Leisnig GbR
On October 27, 1867, the Leisnig station was opened with the Grimma-Leisnig section of the Borsdorf-Döbeln-Meissen railroad Since the reception building bears a strong resemblance to the Grimma station, it is assumed that it was also designed by Eduard Heuchler.
The Leisnig train station is a cultural center, a vibrant place for exchange, business and culture. In addition, the station allows local traders a framework to offer products and services and creates jobs in the region. In addition to cultural operations, there is a café/restaurant and spaces for rental and tourism. The project is sustainably integrated into the local community and brings great added value to the region.
The refurbishment is to be carried out by a combination of low-threshold repair based on best-practice examples and modern, high-quality individual elements, which are to be placed intelligently, taking into account the protection of historic monuments, sustainability and design aspects. In the refurbishment, both an appreciation of the old building fabric and the new beginning of the current project should be made visible.

The Foro Boario building was built 60 years ago as the Padua cattle market.
The structure was designed by the architect Giuseppe Davanzo, which today as an unused colossal work contains many potentials and problems at the same time.

Multi-functional complex in the Center of Munich
IN THE HEART OF THE CITY
(Xella Competition 2011/2012)
2011 - 2012 | M. A. Arch, Dessau International Architecture
In the center of Munich between the main train station and the Stachus there is now a large department store from the 1970s and the five-star hotel with its panorama restaurant exactly on the axis of the Munich pedestrian zone. The task of the competition was to design a multifunctional complex, including residential buildings, offices, retail, entertainment and a five-star hotel, in a way that would give the place a new identity.
